But how do I find the perfect venue within my budget?
The first thing is to know exactly what your budget is, and to be clear on your 'must haves.' Do you want a three course sit-down banquet, or is buffet style catering suitable for your event? Will you be purchasing a beverage package, or simply setting up a bar tab? Does your event HAVE to be on a Saturday night, or can you have it on Thursday instead?
Our top tip is to arm yourself with as much information about your proposed event as possible, before entering the pricing conversation with a venue. Venues want to book events with you, so remember that they'll often be very flexible.
