The smaller the venue, the less you'll pay. The larger, the more.

With thousands of venues on Venuemob, come thousands of different pricing structures. Various factors, such as event type, time of week/year, or number of attendees can significantly impact the price of a function venue.

Large function venues, hosting large scale events may require security costs on top of a minimum food and beverage spend. Small casual restaurants may require a minimum spend as low as $1,000. Meeting rooms will generally be priced per hour, half day or full day, and require no minimum food and beverage spend at all.

Confused? Don't stress, there's a perfect venue out there for you, and we'll help you find it.

But how do I find the perfect venue within my budget?

The first thing is to know exactly what your budget is, and to be clear on your 'must haves.' Do you want a three course sit-down banquet, or is buffet style catering suitable for your event? Will you be purchasing a beverage package, or simply setting up a bar tab? Does your event HAVE to be on a Saturday night, or can you have it on Thursday instead?

Our top tip is to arm yourself with as much information about your proposed event as possible, before entering the pricing conversation with a venue. Venues want to book events with you, so remember that they'll often be very flexible.

Where do I begin?

Once you have the key details sorted, and have set a budget for your event, use the search filters on Venuemob to find the perfect space for your event.

We suggest enquiring with at least three separate venues to ensure that you have a plan B and C if your seemingly perfect venues ends up being not quite right.
